[The One Layer Collab]

Pointless

No one cares that this animation was made in one layer, the fact that you hindered yourselves massively in your means of production is not impressive, nor does it add to the film in any way.

Wow!

Totally awesome. I am blown away by the fact a 15 year old can act and write songs this well, the animation was...well... South Park, so I'd reccommend you do your own thing and find a unique style of your own, but as limited as the animation was - it did the job. Shame this wasn't wrapped up in one episode but i know how hard that can be, I am looking forward to the sequel big style...

And whats with "The frame by frame animation of the web shooting up at the ceiling is the shot I'm most proud of. Go ahead. Watch it frame by frame. It's gorgeous."

Sounds familiar...

You invoked the spirit of the old peanuts cartoons flawlessly but I think that had to do more with sound rather than image.

I hope you paid your voice actors well, they made this work big style.

Is Newgrounds dumbing down?

Occassionally something lands on the frontpage despite having no jokes, no story, no interesting visual style and no other redeeming features....

There's nothing awful about this short but it strikes me as an excercise in tweened animation and nothing more, this doesn't deserve the attention it's received.

Stick at it though, I don't want to discourage you.

You're getting quite a bashing as far as these recent reviews go but they do all have a point, there is no major problem with the animation (it's pretty static but it has it's own charm) alas the lack of any type of identifiable humour seriously lets this down, can you really not think of anything funnier than deliberately naff puns of well known supehero names??
