Only thing I could reccomend is to try and keep cpu usage low whilst exporting (ie. closing ram-sucking programs like Photoshop or keeping browsers off of Youtube.)
You could try asking <a href="<a href="http://mrsimon.newgrounds.com">http://mrsimon.newgrounds.com</a>">MrSimon</a>. He managed to turn one of my movieclip infested swfs into a decent video using some sort of program.

I'd reccomend swf2avi then you can convert that into .mov using premier or other video editing software.
I've used swf2avi and had great results, it captures effects, nested animations, etc etc.
I think it can be bought for around 30 bucks.
It'd be better if I didn't have to shell out for another program to do what flash should be able to do in the first place...but I might have to, thanks.

I've had that problem too, it also happens with animated GIFs.
record with "Camtasia studios". make sure you edit it to record at 30 fps (dont worry it will be fine like that). i say this because it record in very HIGH quality, no frame skip and it can record sound.
moyea swf to video , flashants swf2video, both of em work great i used them to export my movies and they run much better then in flash.
don't use moyea unless you have a good machine - it's a screen-capture based software so if it frameskips at all those will show up
magic swf2avi is the best program i've found for exporting swf to video
i don't think it's ever let me down. no it is not free but if you're down with the pirates they can hook you up
I tried Moyea first as someone else suggested it, and there was frameskip, making it pretty useless.
I'm trying swf2avi now, is this thing supposed to have a progress bar as it converts or am I stuck waiting?

My suggestion is download hypercam, it will have a trial thing at the top, so extend it's area just above your flash. Put the movie in After Effects or Movie Maker and crop out the 'unregistered icon', then export it from there.
That's what I do in situations like that :P
Do you have a Mac or PC?
I've heard if you've got a Mac you can use the newer version of Garageband to import a swf file, and because its used for soundtracks, you can export it as a mov with your audio track.
On a PC i found the best results using the Moyea swf-mov converter, but I only used the trial version.

I've had stuipd stupid problems like that before.
Super if anything...grab a camera...and film it from screen to camera, then digitize. It would help if comp has LCD screen, the results is pretty decent, then maybe tackle it with color correction.
Shelling out on other programs might be a solution too.
or if anything...............export as avi....and improvise your way out of the movie clips, change the movie clips to graphic clips instead maybe? This stuff makes me go crazy, so I hope you stay sane!

Flash can't do it for shit, you need to use swf2avi. I have been for years now.
Flash cs3 and quicktime just dont mix. i remember everytime i exported flash movies into quicktime using flash 8 and they would work perfectly, but with cs3 its not the same.
ive been trying to fix this problem myself.
But what you could do is get a screen recording program and just use that.
ive used some pretty good ones and the quality came out perfect (same as the frame etc)
