I can't see any anime fan wanted to watch DiCaprio in a live action remake of a movie set in the future in Japan. (More than likely, they'll move it to Los Angelos or New York after it has been destroyed and rebuilt (see "Escape from New York" or "Escape from L.A.").
Hopefully, this will be an R-rated film and not some PG-13 flim that they will market to kids.
